HTC announces ‘HTC Touch Diamond’ with TouchFlo 3D

HTC has just released its much anticipated release of 2008, the HTC Diamond with upgradedTouchFLO 3D. HTC CEO Peter Chou revealed the Diamond at a press conference in London. Diamond runs on the updated TouchFLo technology from HTC (Videos downstairs).

With HTC’s vibrant touch-responsive user interface, TouchFLO™ 3D, and ultra-fast HSDPA internet connectivity… the HTC Touch Diamond offers a rich online experience to rival a notebook computer, allowing you to interact with Google, YouTube, and Wikipedia as freely as you would with a broadband connection.

  • VGA Screen - 2.8-inch touch screen
  • 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera
  • Quad-band HSDPA 7.2
  • 4GB internal Memory
  • Internal GPS
  • One-touch navigation, including single-finger dialing
  • An accelerometer that rotates pictures as you rotate the phone
  • One-touch music playback with an animated music browser
  • A heavily-animated weather forecast app (See video below)
  • Full-featured desktop-like web browser (Opera) with zoom-in tech that actually reformats to fit the screen upon zoom, although Microsoft promises IE 6 coming soon for it
