Plenty of Centrino 2 Notebooks in 2008

Intel’s Centrino 2 (Montevina) platform is in news since some time now. And here we have a long list of releases from various manufacturers. Acer, HP, Panasonic, Sony are just a few who have announces / released their Centrino2 based notebooks.
  • Acer’s Centrino 2 based Laptops: Acer has a whole lot of Centrino2 based notebooks, TravelMate 6293, 5730, 7730, 6593, and 6493. TravelMate 5730 has a 15.4″ screen with choice of graphics between ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470/HD 3650, nVidia GeForce 9300M GS or Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD while the TravelMate 7730 offers a bigger 17″ display with support upto 320GB HDD and Blu-ray. more

  • Hp Centrino2 vPro based Tablet: The Compaq 2730p is the latest Centrino2 based release by HP. An early Centrino2 based tablet, the 2730p has a 12.1″ screen and is powered by the C2D L9400 processor (1.86Ghz) with vPro technology. Other features include a 120GB HDD, 2GB RAM and GMA 4500MHD graphic.
  • Panasonic: Panasonic now loads its Toughbook laptops CF-52 and CF-74 with the power of Centrino 2. These are desktop replacement notebooks which are highly durable. The CF-52 offers a 15.4″ LCD while the CF-74 fits in a 13.3″ LCD. more
  • Sony Vaio now powered with Centrino 2: Sony has a real power-horse here, the ‘VAIO VGN-SR175SN’. Featuring 2.26-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor with a 320GB HDD, 13.3″ LCD, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 for graphics. Another Sony Centrino2 notebook is the VGN-FW198UH with a 16.4-inch widescreen. More
